For evnt.id (evnt.id).
Last updated May 13, 2026.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and evnt.id ("we," "us," or "evnt.id") governing your use of evnt.id (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
evnt.id offers free and paid membership tiers (currently Free, Pro, and VIP). Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan; access continues through the end of the current paid period and no further charges are made.
We may change plan pricing, features, or membership rules. Material changes apply at your next renewal — we'll give you at least 30 days' notice via email and in the community.
You own your content. Posts, comments, replies, list items, recipes, images, files, messages, and other material you create or upload to the Service ("Your Content") remain yours.
You grant us a licence to operate the Service. By posting Your Content, you grant evnt.id a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, modify (for technical purposes like resizing or compression), and distribute Your Content within the Service and through the Service's official integrations, for as long as Your Content remains on the Service. This licence ends when you delete Your Content, except where retention is needed for backups, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
You're responsible for Your Content. Don't post anything you don't have the right to post, and don't post anything that:
We may remove content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines, and we may suspend or terminate accounts for repeated or severe violations.
Don't:
Some events posted in the Service require a deposit to confirm RSVP. The deposit amount and the refund policy are shown on the event page before you commit. By confirming a deposit you agree to the specific refund policy attached to that event. Refund policies are one of:
If the event host cancels the event, every confirmed RSVP receives a full refund regardless of the event's listed refund policy. If you don't show up after confirming, the deposit is forfeited (unless the host explicitly grants a refund). Refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.
When vetted directories launch (planned for Pro+ in Q2 next year), they list third-party service providers (attorneys, dentists, visa services, etc.) we believe are reputable. We don't act as those providers' agent and we're not a party to any contract between you and them. Use your own judgement, verify credentials, and check current pricing before engaging anyone.
Posts in the Service — including those by attorneys, accountants, doctors, and other professionals — are not a substitute for professional advice for your specific situation. Posts are conversational. For binding decisions (visa applications, medical care, tax filings, real estate transactions), engage a qualified professional who can review your specific facts.
The evnt.id brand, our trademarks, the curated content we publish (guidebooks, courses, vetted directory listings authored by us, AI-assisted summaries we publish), and the software powering the Service are owned by us or our licensors (including CloudSocial). You don't get any rights in our intellectual property except the limited rights to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
You can stop using the Service at any time and close your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if we're required to by law, or if continued service to you exposes us or other members to material risk. We'll generally try to give notice and an opportunity to fix the issue first, except where doing so would compromise safety or legal obligations.
Sections of these Terms that should reasonably survive termination — including content licence, indemnification, limitations of liability, and governing law — will survive.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are not permitted by law. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that posted information is accurate or current.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, evnt.id and its directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Service.
Our aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) US $100.
You'll indemnify and hold evnt.id harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the revised Terms on this page, update the "Last updated" date, and — for material changes — notify you in the community or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
